Eelmisel nädalal läksid kuuendikud sõna otseses mõttes omadega rappa - tegemist oli KIK projektiga ning eesmärgiks oli loodusõpetuse tunnis õpitu kinnistamine. Räätsadega matkamine oli põnev tegevus.

Peale matka tuletasid õpilased õpilased inglise keele tunnis meelde, mida matkal nähti ja kogeti. Õpilaste poolt valiti kõige parema ülevaatega kirjutis välja ning siin see on - 6.b klassi Robin Kalmbergi poolt kirjutatud ingliskeelne tutvustus:

6th class bog walk

On April 10, 6th grade students went on a bog hike with three teachers. The field trip took place in Rummu Bog, as part of the nature studies subject.

At the beginning of the bog hike, safety precautions were discussed, after which we started walking towards Lake Rummu. The hike continued with snowshoes. The students walked to a clearing where they could eat cranberries. Along the way, the hike guide talked about the nature of the bog and swamp.

The hikers especially liked pushing branches into the bog soil, because the soil was very soft, watery, and springy.

On the hike, students learned how trees breathe and that snowshoes can help us get where a human foot would sink through the surface.

The hike in pure nature was very educational and exciting.
